Join an open Motivational Interviewing workshop with practitioners from health, social care, mental health, substance use, education, youth work, criminal justice and other helping professions.
Open workshops are for individual practitioners and smaller numbers of staff who want to book a place on a scheduled programme, rather than commission training for a whole organisation.

Introduction to Motivational Interviewing
A practical and experiential introduction to the spirit, skills and four tasks of Motivational Interviewing. Suitable if you are new to MI or want to establish a strong foundation for practice.
For practitioners who already have introductory MI training and want to develop greater skill through deliberate practice, feedback and deeper exploration of MI processes.
When paid open workshops are available, this page will show the dates, format, price, availability and booking details. If there is not currently a suitable date, register your interest below.
Registering your interest does not reserve a place or commit you to payment. It simply means I can let you know when relevant open workshop dates are released.

Training for organisations
If you want MI training for a staff team or service, commissioned programmes can be designed around your organisation, workforce and practice context.
Public Health Agency funded Motivational Interviewing training is available for eligible practitioners and services in Northern Ireland. These workshops have their own eligibility and registration arrangements and are separate from paid open workshops.
