Motivational Interviewing Training for Organisations
Practical, experiential Motivational Interviewing training designed around the people, services and conversations that matter to your organisation.
We work with managers and commissioners to understand what your staff need and shape training around your workforce, service context and development priorities.

Start with the conversations your staff are having
Each workshop combines clear theory, demonstration, guided practice, reflection and realistic scenarios relevant to your setting. We can explore:
- learning needs and existing staff experience
- the people your service supports and the conversations staff find challenging
- sector-specific responsibilities and pressures
- the time available for training and follow-up
- organisational priorities, values and models of care
- opportunities for mentoring, coaching or communities of practice.
Training shaped to your workforce
The first conversation is about what you want the training to achieve. You do not need to decide the programme structure before getting in touch. We can consider the most appropriate format together.

Relevant to your workforce
Training can be adapted for health, mental health, substance use, tobacco, social care, criminal justice, housing, education, youth work, leadership and other helping settings.

Practical and experiential
Participants learn through demonstration, reflection and skills practice using realistic conversations from their own professional context.

Flexible delivery
Options can include short workshops, full-day or multi-day programmes, online or face-to-face delivery, and phased development with follow-up practice support.
Tell me about your organisation and what you are considering
Use the enquiry form below to give me an initial sense of your organisation, workforce and what you hope Motivational Interviewing training might support. You do not need to have the training format or programme worked out at this stage.
I will then contact you to discuss the options and consider what would best fit your needs.
Motivational Interviewing is used internationally across health, social care, education and other helping professions. Learn more about the wider international MI community through the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
